Our StaffPastor Matt Postiff
Rev. Postiff was called as the Pastor of Fellowship Bible Church on May 21, 2006. He and his wife Naomi have three children, David, John, and Daniel. (The picture was from 2H 2009.) Before assuming responsibilities at Fellowship Bible, Pastor Postiff studied at the University of Michigan and received a Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Ph.D. in computer engineering. Upon graduation from Michigan, he ran an engineering consulting firm which specialized in the design and simulation of computer microprocessors. He also studied at Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary for the 3-year Master of Divinity degree, graduating in May 2005. He was ordained to the gospel ministry in November 2004. He graduated in 2010 with a Master of Theology degree at DBTS, and has taught first year Hebrew there as well. Pastor Postiff has also done some study in addiction recovery and church planting. He became a believer at age 11 under the influence of his godly parents, grandmother, and the witness of the local church. Pastoral Intern Andy BennettAndy Bennett came to Fellowship Bible Church in early 2006. He and his wife Sarah have been married since 2003. He received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in his youth and was baptized in June of 2006. Subsequently, he trained at Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary and received a Master of Divinity degree in May of 2010. The church called Andy to its pastoral internship program in October of 2009 and he has been ministering to our teens, college students, singles, and in preaching several times per month. Deacon Bill SmithBill Smith has been attending Fellowship Bible since his youth when the church was meeting at Forsythe School in the early to mid 1980s. He is married to Andrea and they have three children. Bill has been a deacon since 2000. Deacon James WidgeonJames Widgeon has been a deacon for longer than anyone remembers around the church. His wife Betty is also active in the ministry of the church and they have two grown children. |
