Our mid-week children's program is called Kids 4 Truth. Hundreds of churches use the K4T program to make sure that the children learn Bible stories as well as key Christian teachings on God, sin, Jesus Christ, salvation, and the church. The program utilizes a question-and-answer format (sometimes called a "catechism" method) along with Bible verse memorization that corresponds to each Christian doctrine.
Anyone from age 3 through 6th Grade.
Every Wednesday during the school year, from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m.
There is no required cost for the program. We ask families who are able to contribute to the K4T program to make an offering to offset the cost of books and awards and so forth. The cost per child is about $25.00.
There is a secure and clean nursery provided for your younger children.
Singing; Bible lesson; learn Bible doctrine through a question-and-answer format; game time.
The Kids-4-Truth program has a number of valuable components. One is the singing of songs that go with the Bible doctrines the children are learning. A second strength is the doctrinal emphasis through questions and answers that the children memorize. Another strength is how readily it can be integrated with the rest of the church program. Parents can rest assured that we are not looking for just "decisions" but for children who learn God's Word and are transformed by it.
For more information please call or email the church.
Kids 4 Truth is a similar kind of ministry. We replaced our Awana program with Kids 4 Truth in the 2009-10 school year. Many fundamental and Baptist churches like ours are using Kids 4 Truth to replace the more broadly evangelical Awana program.
There are lots of kids programs available! A brief search yields Awana, Christian Service Brigade, Frontlineclubs, Generations of Grace, Gospel Light, King's Kids, MastersClubs, Missionette, Pioneer Clubs, Patch the Pirate, ProTeens, Royal Ranger, Sonlight Clubs, TeamKids, Truth Trackers, and Youth for Ministry, among others.
