About Pastor & Mrs. Matthew Postiff

Rev. Postiff was called as the Pastor of Fellowship Bible Church on May 21, 2006. He grew up in Chelsea, Michigan and he is married to the former Naomi Kornilakis of Ann Arbor. They have three children, David, John, and Daniel. (The picture was from 2H 2009.) Before assuming responsibilities at Fellowship Bible, Pastor Postiff studied at the University of Michigan and received a Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Ph.D. in computer engineering. Upon graduation from Michigan, he ran an engineering consulting firm which specialized in the design and testing of computer microprocessors. He also studied at Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary for the 3-year Master of Divinity degree, graduating in May 2005. He was ordained to the gospel ministry in November 2004. He continues to pursue a Master of Theology degree at DBTS, and has taught elementary Hebrew there as well. He became a believer at age 11 under the influence of his godly parents, grandmother, and the witness of the local church.

Mrs. Naomi Postiff received the Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Michigan in 1998, along with a teaching certificate. Afterwards she taught in the Farmington Public schools for six years until she and her husband were blessed with children. She now stays at home, participates in the music ministry of the church and does children's work there. She has recorded some music for believers to be encouraged in their walk with the Lord.
